  • Yeah, I posted

Hi, I am posting for all of those interested in what is happening in our wild life. We just returned from Sandy Pines Campground, I guess you can call it a campground but it is more like an different world full of crazy golf cart drivers. we had a great time. They have a little water park there and Bryson loved it. We were in our pop-up of course and it with held tremendously. Our boy is a water rat, he just loves it and will not get out until he is shivering to death or if he is bribed some way. (ice cream works best) That was our second trip already this summer. We also spent a great week in Holland with my family at the overflow campground. Our summer is going great. I have yet to "work" a day but have completed many chores around the house. Well that is all for now, see you next year.

    Sills Update

So we were talking about getting a new trailer and that led to a little action. We recently purchased a new(used) pop-up camper with the help of one of the best loan officers this side of west michigan (Tim VH). My wife and I are very happy with it and can't wait to get it out in the wilderness (electric hook-up of course). So those of you who love to be outdoors and don't have a trailer yet, the time is now! Just kidding, we do want to get something together now in the form of a campout. Those interested say "I". At this time in our lives we are usually heading up north to camp at the nationl campground, but instead Danielle's parents have invited us to stay with them for a week in Leelanau county in a cabin. This was planned a while ago and we will have a great time (Bryson will be spoiled), but now we just bought a trailer and are going to have to post-pone the maiden voyage. It will be used soon though. So some of you have new children or planning on a new arrival, we have a pop-up. But if you know anything about how Bryson came along you know Danielle and I love to camp:) Well I hope all of you have a great fourth and we will talk to you when we return.
Oh yeah, my brothers and I went to the TIgers game on Tuesday. Even though they lost, it was a great time. We had a Tigers Club pass and sat in the Den to eat and watch some of the game in the a/c. I would love to describe in words the buffet that we had but I would rather tell you about the "high roller" feel that we had because of one little pass and a couple of wrist bans. Anyway it was sweet and we felt like we were living someone else's life.

  • Daddy Daycare 2007

Well since I am at home with some time I do have some things I can fill you'all in on. I am really loving this summer break. Bryson is walking everywhere and his personallity just cracks me up. It's quite hot out so daddy and Bryson spend lots of time in the kiddie pool. We just spend a couple of days in Holland camping with the Sills family and yesterday (father's day) we were at Silver Lake checking out the dune buggies. It has been quite busy these past couple of weeks, but lots of fun. I am now getting used to nap schedules and working my day around them. After our wonderful camping trip that we spent on a campsite with my parents, Kris and his two kids, and Kris's new girlfriend, Danielle kind of hinted at maybe looking at getting our own trailer. So now I am researching/checking on all that goes into that, if there are any suggestion out there I would love to hear them. Is 30 feet too big? Anyway we had a great father's day and were even able to see my grandma whom we have not seen since Bryson was baptized. My whole family stopped by her house on the way home and let's just say she had her share of entertainment for a while. So a new baby to our small group and that is awesome, I love kids and can't wait to hold a little one again. Way to go Jon and Joy, you two make really cute kids. (probably because of Jon's model like features) There is a video of "Bryson" for those of you who want a good laugh. (dad did not find it funny)

    An exciting Day

The past two days have been quite interesting here at the Sills Casa. Bryson decided that he did not want to crawl everywhere anymore. He has been making frequent trips around the house using his own two feet. He is so funny to watch walk/waddle. This evening my mother-in-law brought her little dog over and Bryson walked it around the house with the leash. Pretty sweet. I will put a video up so you can watch it. Other than that I am really looking forward to some time off from school and a little camping.
